# 3D View

Open 3D View under Hotel Operations.

![3D View](https://582852079-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FH3QewPp8q2H0UbFFNMYS%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-1c948d7d1814d1f7f726708f03e65de6d18e4e05%2Fproperty-3d.png?alt=media)

## Explore the property

1. Select the correct property and open 3D View.
2. Use the floor buttons inside the scene to choose a floor.
3. Use the floor-separation and wall controls to reveal the interior.
4. Select a room or bed to inspect its information and stay status.
5. Follow available actions to the related reservation screens, subject to your permissions.
6. Use Refresh to retrieve the latest status.

## Interpret the scene

Floors, rooms and beds come from property definitions. Missing or overlapping positions may be arranged schematically, and beds within rooms are positioned automatically. This is not an architectural measurement or floor-plan editing tool. Exploring the scene does not change saved coordinates.

The visual distribution of a room reservation's guests across beds does not create actual bed assignments. Guests without specified gender use a neutral character; gender is not inferred from names.

## A unit is missing or looks wrong

Check the property, floor, room relationship, physical bed definitions and rental mode, then refresh. Schematic beds selected as room-layout furniture do not create separate reservation units.

If the browser cannot open the 3D scene, use retry or text-based unit selection. You can continue daily work from the [Room Status Board](/en/daily-operations/room-board.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.interaktifotel.com/en/property-management/three-dimensional-view.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
